A latest survey by Baleno and spa tourism association has revealed that the spa industry in Bulgaria is making headway this year, unlike the last decade. The last decade saw a lot of crisis in the spa industry but this year the spa costs have increased by 8 percent. Several travellers enjoy the spa services provided by the hotels in Bulgaria.
The owners of the spa businesses believe that the industry will progress in 2012 as Russian and Turkish tourists get visa without any difficulty these days. Initially, the cities of Devin and Velingrad owned Balneo spa hotels.
The best of all the SPA hotels are situated near Black Sea coast. The extensive utilization of mineral waters has made the Bulgarian spa culture matchless and better as compared to the Russian and Turkish baths as well as the Asian massage centers. These spa centers provide effective solutions for the people suffering from various illnesses and stress related problems.
The local authorities of the spa hotels, however, are not absolutely satisfied as they see loop holes in the strategy planning, regulations and laws made for recruitment and training of the staff. They believe that these issues might affect the future of Balneo spa tourism.
