These awards really matter guys, check out http://www.studentradio.org.uk/awards/2006/categories/ for last years categories and an idea of the requirements for each. The SRA's are Very prestigious, and a damn good way to get recognised for all the work you have all put in to each and every one of your shows this year. I really appreciate all the effort you guys put in to make LCR's output fit, so why not whack it all on a cd and send it off to be judged by industry professionals and get some Real recognition eh?? ;)

A Best Outside Broadcast entry is being put together for Freefest, and I am doing a Best Station one which I will need snippets from everyones show for, but plllleeeease do check out the individual awards you can go for.. best entertainment, best male, best specialist music.. there's loads to choose from!! :)

The deadline isn't up yet, but it's usually the beginning of July, so basically our end of term!
